★★★★★4.8· thousands of reviews

Our Al Fresco slides deliver podiatrist-designed biomechanical support in an effortless slip-on silhouette. The breathable stretch-knit upper wraps your foot in soft, flexible comfort while our built-in orthotic footbed realigns your stride from the ground up.

Memory foam cushioning beneath the knit cradles your foot with every step, absorbing impact and relieving pressure on joints. Whether you're running errands, traveling, or relaxing at home, the Al Fresco sandal keeps your feet supported and comfortable hour after hour.

We engineered the Al Fresco to combine the casual ease of a slide with the corrective support typically reserved for athletic footwear. The result is a sandal you can wear all day without fatigue, arch pain, or the alignment issues that often accompany flat, unsupportive footwear.

Orthotic footbed technology & biomechanical alignment

The Al Fresco slide houses the same podiatrist-designed orthotic technology we use across our entire footwear collection. A contoured arch cradle supports your medial longitudinal arch at the precise angle needed to reduce overpronation and restore neutral alignment through your ankle, knee, and hip.

Unlike generic foam footbeds that compress flat within weeks, our built-in orthotic maintains its structural integrity for the life of the sandal. The heel cup is deep enough to stabilize your rearfoot while the metatarsal pad relieves pressure beneath the ball of your foot. This combination prevents the forefoot splaying and arch collapse that cause plantar fasciitis, bunions, and general foot fatigue.

Sizing & fit

Breathable stretch-knit upper construction

We chose a technical stretch-knit fabric for the Al Fresco upper because it flexes with your foot’s natural motion while maintaining a secure, sock-like fit. The open-weave construction allows air circulation even on hot days, preventing the sweat buildup common in closed-toe shoes.

The knit wraps around your forefoot and midfoot without pressure points or rigid seams. If you have sensitive skin, bunions, or swelling that fluctuates throughout the day, the fabric gently expands to accommodate changes in foot volume. The material is hand-washable and dries quickly, making these slides ideal for travel or beach vacations.

Styling

Sizing, fit & break-in period

The Revitalign orthotic memory foam knit slide sandals run true to women’s whole and half sizes US 6–11. If you’re between sizes or have a high-volume foot, we recommend sizing up. The stretch-knit upper will conform to your foot width within the first few wears, but the orthotic footbed length does not stretch.

You may feel pronounced arch support during the first 3–5 days as your feet adjust to proper alignment. This is normal if you’ve been wearing flat, unsupportive footwear. Start by wearing the Al Fresco slides for 1–2 hours at a time, gradually increasing duration as your muscles adapt to the corrective positioning.

Finally, a slide that doesn't hurt my arches
I have high arches and plantar fasciitis, so most slides leave me limping after an hour. The Al Fresco gives me real arch support without feeling bulky or orthopedic. I wore them on a weekend trip to Charleston and walked miles without any foot pain. The knit is so breathable and soft.

Game-changer for my nursing shifts
I'm on my feet for 12-hour shifts, and these slides have saved my knees and lower back. The memory foam is incredibly cushioned, and the orthotic keeps my ankles from rolling inward. They're also easy to clean, which is essential in a hospital setting.

Lightweight and packable for travel
I bought the Al Fresco slides for a European vacation, and they were perfect. They take up almost no space in my suitcase, slip on and off easily at airport security, and kept my feet happy during hours of sightseeing. The knit upper never chafed or caused blisters.

Needed a few days to break in
The arch support felt really pronounced at first because I'd been wearing flat sandals for years. After about four days of wearing them a couple hours at a time, my feet adjusted and now they're incredibly comfortable. I wish I'd sized up a half size, but the knit has stretched slightly to fit.

Best recovery shoe I've found
I had bunion surgery six months ago, and my podiatrist recommended Revitalign. The Al Fresco slides give me the support I need without putting pressure on my surgical site. The knit doesn't rub, and the memory foam absorbs shock when I'm walking on hard surfaces.

Stylish enough for casual outings
I was skeptical that orthotic sandals could look this good. The knit design is modern and I've gotten compliments every time I wear them. They go with everything from jeans to summer dresses, and my feet feel amazing all day long.

Good to know

Common questions about the Al Fresco slides

We do not recommend wearing custom orthotics inside the Al Fresco slides. The sandal already has a built-in podiatrist-designed orthotic footbed that provides medial arch support and biomechanical alignment correction.

Doubling up on orthotic devices can over-correct your foot position and cause discomfort or new alignment issues. The memory foam layer and contoured footbed are calibrated to work together as a complete support system. If your podiatrist prescribed custom orthotics for a specific condition, consult with them before switching to our built-in orthotic footwear.

The memory foam midsole in the Al Fresco slides maintains its cushioning and rebound properties for approximately 8–12 months of daily wear. We use a high-density foam formulation that resists permanent compression better than generic foam insoles.

You'll notice the foam softens slightly during the first week of wear as it molds to your unique pressure points, but it stabilizes after that initial break-in period. When the foam begins to feel flat or you notice reduced shock absorption, it's time to replace the sandals. The orthotic shell beneath the foam lasts much longer, but diminished cushioning reduces overall comfort and joint protection.

The Al Fresco slides work well for casual outdoor walking on paved surfaces, boardwalks, and groomed trails. The rubber outsole provides traction and the orthotic footbed supports your foot during moderate activity.

However, we do not recommend the Al Fresco for technical hiking or rugged terrain. The open slide design doesn't offer the ankle support or toe protection needed for uneven ground, roots, or rocks. For serious hiking, consider our closed-toe orthotic sneakers with lace-up stability. The Al Fresco excels at beach walks, park strolls, shopping trips, and travel sightseeing where you need support without the bulk of athletic shoes.

The Al Fresco features a breathable stretch-knit upper that flexes with your foot, making it ideal for warm weather and travel. Our Breezy slides use leather uppers for a more structured, polished look. The Ocean slides are fully waterproof EVA construction for pool and beach use.

All our slide styles share the same core podiatrist-designed orthotic footbed technology, so the biomechanical support is consistent across the collection. The primary differences are in upper materials, aesthetic styling, and specialized use cases like water resistance. The Al Fresco balances versatility, breathability, and lightweight construction better than any other model in our line.

Yes, you can hand-wash the stretch-knit upper with cool water and mild detergent. Air-dry the sandals away from direct heat or sunlight. We do not recommend machine washing or machine drying, as high temperatures can damage the memory foam and warp the orthotic shell.

The knit fabric is pre-shrunk during manufacturing and will not shrink further with proper cool-water washing. The material is also colorfast, so it won't bleed or fade noticeably over time. For routine maintenance, spot-clean small marks with a damp cloth rather than washing the entire sandal. This extends the life of both the knit upper and the foam cushioning beneath it.

If you experience arch pain, heel pain, plantar fasciitis, flat feet, high arches, overpronation, or general foot fatigue, you'll benefit from the corrective support in the Al Fresco slides. Many people don't realize their foot alignment affects their knees, hips, and lower back until they try properly supportive footwear.

Common signs you need orthotic support include uneven shoe wear patterns, pain that worsens after long periods of standing or walking, morning heel pain, or discomfort when wearing flat sandals or flip-flops. If you've been told by a podiatrist or physical therapist that you overpronate or have fallen arches, the built-in orthotic footbed will help realign your stride and reduce strain on joints and connective tissue.

The Al Fresco slides run true to standard US women's sizing for most foot shapes. If you're between sizes, have a high-volume foot, or experience swelling throughout the day, we recommend sizing up a half size. The stretch-knit upper will conform to your foot width, but the orthotic footbed length does not stretch.

If you have a narrow foot or low volume, your true size should provide a secure fit. The knit wraps snugly around your midfoot without feeling tight. Keep in mind that the memory foam compresses slightly during the first week of wear, so a sandal that feels slightly snug initially will mold to your foot shape as the foam adapts.
